Product Details
Whole Prey Quail are raised in pens inside our barn.
Our quail are hormone, antibiotic and preservative free, and have not been enhanced in anyway. Freshly harvested and prepared. Never high heat pasteurized or processed by HPP (high-pressure pasteurization).
As with all of our products, these animals are sourced locally on our ranch, non-GMO droves. We incubate our eggs and the process starts there with our animal husbandry and care.
Feeding & Supplementation
Our products are labeled for intermittent and supplementing feeding as they are not complete and balanced in accordance with AAFCO (the US accepted standard for kibble).
Cloven proteins are a great starting point and baseline, but are not intended to make up the entirety of your pet's diet. We believe every pet is a unique individual and that there is not a "one size fits all" answer in regards to how much to feed or what supplements/nutrients to add. Research and/or working with a certified animal nutritionist is important in learning the proper amounts to feed and the supplementation necessary to tailor your pet's diet to their needs specifically.
